Stefanie Janssesn, apart from being the secretary of Etica da Terra is working as senior project manager at IVN, Netherlands and has a rich experience of working with nature, elderly people and people with special needs.
She has completed her MSc from University of Greenwich in Environmental Research and has also received IVLOS teacher training.
Her Specialties are contributing to a sustainable society by involving people in nature, the environment and landscape. Network management, methodologies, content in the field of nature and environmental education and innovations.
Stefanie knows how to translate practical problems and opportunities into clear policy goals and descriptions. In addition, she is well-established in secondary education where it concerns opportunities and possibilities for sustainability themes.
Stefanie also developed and delivered a Youth Leadership Training on Social Skills, leveraging outdoor survival as a tool for personal development to 150 students across Europe which was funded by European Commission. The project was aimed at empowering experienced youth and social workers as well as young people with fewer opportunities, providing them with versatile tools to foster the social integration through outdoor educational activities.
